Mount Vernon Police are investigating a shooting that left a victim’s vehicle damaged. At around 7:15 AM on Sunday, July 30, 2023 Mount Vernon Police responded to the area of 200 Block of South 5th Ave, on a report of shots fired with a vehicle struck. Upon arrival officers located a victim, of Mount Vernon, who was involved in a road rage incident with a red Tesla at said location. During the incident, a shot was fired from the red tesla at the victim’s vehicle resulting in damage. The victim was not injured during this incident. The red Tesla was later observed in NYC by NYPD which resulted in a vehicle pursuit and the arrest of three suspects. Mount Vernon Detectives are investigating the incident.
