Firehouses

Our Fire House are the backbone of our organization. They support all of our work and equipment. Unlike most professions, firefighters must rest/sleep where they work. We also share meals and recreational time in addition to responding to fires and other emmeregncies. Our fire houses are the bonds that hold the brotherhood/sisterhood of our organization together.

The Mount Vernon Fire Department regularly holds Open Houses at all four fire houses. Due to Covid-19 we have temporarily suspended this program, however we are looking forward to reestablishing this experience for our citizen very soon.
